{"id":2200,"date":"2019-07-05T15:24:49","date_gmt":"2019-07-05T15:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iu-wa.com\/en\/?p=2200"},"modified":"2020-06-21T18:33:45","modified_gmt":"2020-06-21T18:33:45","slug":"assorted-color-straight-umbrella-hanging-on-black-wire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iu-wa.com\/en\/?p=2200","title":{"rendered":"Statement of the Islamic Ummah World Assembly on the anniversary of the \u200ekidnapping of Iranian diplomats in Lebanon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RNA \u2013 The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/iu-wa.com\/\">Islamic Ummah World Assembly<\/a>\u00a0has issued a statement marking the 37th \u200eanniversary of the kidnapping of four Iranian diplomats in Lebanon.\u200e<\/p>\n<p>On July 4, 1982, four Iranian diplomats were kidnapped by a group of Israeli-backed \u200ePhalange terrorists at an inspection post in al-Barbareh which is located in northern Lebanon.\u200e<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most, Merciful\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The kidnapping of Iranian diplomats on July 4, 1982 by Lebanese Phalange forces and their \u200ehandover to the regime occupying al-Quds (Jerusalem), regardless of the fact that this was \u200eof the most bitter actions of the enemies against the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a strong \u200eattestation of the oppression of the Islamic Resistance Front and its efforts in the struggle \u200eagainst occupation.\u200e<br \/>\n\u200e \u200e<br \/>\nOn this day, a number of traitors and hypocrites with a mask of patriotism and friendship \u200ewith Lebanon, took hostage the true friends of Lebanon and the Islamic Resistance, namely, \u200eMajor General Ahmad Motevaselian (a military attach\u00e9 for the Iranian embassy in Beirut), \u200eSayyed Mohsen Mousavi (charg\u00e9 d\u2019affaires at the embassy), Taqi Rastegar-Moghadam (an \u200eembassy employee) and Kazem Akhavan (a photojournalist for Islamic Republic News \u200eAgency) and delivered them to the first-rate enemies of the Lebanese people and the Islamic \u200eResistance Front [Israel].\u200e<\/p>\n<p>As the Leader of the Islamic Resistance, Imam Khamenei, said in regard to the case of Hajj \u200eAhmad Motevaselian \u200eon the anniversary of the kidnapping of these revolutionary forces, \u201cDo \u200enot say, martyr; we do not have any news about his martyrdom,\u201d the World Assembly of \u200ethe Islamic Ummah also follows the Supreme Leader.
